Do not be dismayed

one day you will know

If you've disobeyed

then just let it go

much progress is made

with or without the glow

and one day it will fade

....although

they are all living out there

with or without you

the ones that you love

and the ones you do not

sanity it seems, is in short supply

and too soon the time will come

do what you feel must be done

will you be revered as a brilliant mind

or seen to be a brainless ogre?

when life leaves you blind, will it seem so sublime

cast adrift in a sea of posers?

will you shuffle and rush for your own daily grind

every single day over and over?

every legacy faces with time,

be you a king, ace, or joker how

could I want something special from mine?
